We're dedicated to serving YOU and we'll work for your independence and freedom even when that makes it easy for you to take your business somewhere else. That's our promise. We share a passion for the concepts of user-centric identity and want LinkSafe to be a first-class example. We've been involved with user-centric identity and i-names for years: we founded the Identity Commons in 2001, worked on the first prototype of inames (they were called "e-names"!) for the PlaNetwork conference in 2004, and helped build the first i-broker at 2idi.com. Our slogan Pull Yourself Together! is a reference to the bits and pieces of us scattered around the online world. Our fragmented identities result from an architecture of silos (companies keep what they have to themselves) and a mistrust of who might aggregate our data without our knowledge. At LinkSafe we're creating the conditions for you to re-aggregate yourself on your terms and, with confidence, share that data with who you wish. We believe that everyone will benefit from this: you will have one copy of your data to maintain (regardless of where it lives), the data you do share with companies will be more up to date, and you'll have better records and control of your data and privacy.
